The God
We believe that the Bible is the revelation of God to man, inspired and Holy Spirit breathed written word of God.
We believe that the Bible is the revelation of God to man, inspired and Holy Spirit breathed written word of God.
We believe in the literal, personal, visible, imminent, premillennial, and pre-tribulational return of the Lord Jesus Christ. All believers will be caught up to be with the Lord prior to the seven years of tribulation. We believe at the end of the tribulation Christ will return with His saints to establish His literal Kingdom, on the earth, for 1000 years. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18;Titus 2:13;1 Thessalonians 1:10;Revelation 3:10;Zechariah 14:4-11;Revelation 19:11-16,20:1-6).
We believe it is the responsibility of all believers to obey and serve the Lord and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives. The duty of each church member to exercise godly discipline in a loving and caring fashion. (2 Timothy 3:1-5;Romans 12:1-2,2 John 1:9-11;)
We believe in the unconditional immortality of the Soul. The resurrection of the body. The eternal joy in Heaven of the believer. The conscious eternal punishment in Hell of those who die without Christ. (Matthew 25:46;John 5:28,29,11:25-26;Revelation 20:5-6,12-13).
We believe the local church to be company of baptised believers gathered under the headship of Christ for worship, fellowship, instruction and evangelism. (Acts 11:26;Acts 14:23;Acts 14:27;20:17,28-32;Colossians 1:18) We believe in the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s supper.
Baptism: Being the immersion of believers on profession of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and as a symbol of their identification with Him in His death, burial and resurrection. The public demonstration of a personal transformation. (Matthew 28:18-20,Acts 2:41,8:12)
The Lord’s Supper: being the weekly remembrance, for believers, of the atoning death of the Lord Jesus Christ until He comes and a renewal of commitment to Him. The purely symbolic nature of the emblems of bread and wine. (Luke 22:14-20;Acts 2:42;Acts 20:7;1 Corinthians 11:17-30)
We believe in the autonomy of the local church. (Colossians 1:18;2 Corinthians 8:1-5,19,23)
The offices of elder and deacon (1 Timothy 3:1-13,Titus 1:6-9.)
The gifts of an Evangelist and Pastor-Teacher (Ephesians 4:11;1 Timothy 5:17).
The priesthood of all believers and their unity in the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12-30,1 Peter 2:5,9;Revelation 5:9,10).
The separation of Church and State.
We believe in the need for “repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”. We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We believe that Christ died for every man, and that there is a responsibility placed on an individual to either accept or reject the message of the Gospel. We believe in the justification of the sinner by God’s grace and the eternal security of the believer. (Acts 20:21;Romans 5:1-2,Ephesians 2:8-10;Hebrews 2:9;1 John 2:2,1 Peter 1:4-5)
We believe in the creation of man in the image of God. The entrance of sin through Adam’s disobedience. The fallen and totally deprived state of all men. Their subjection to God’s wrath and condemnation. Their responsibility to repent and believe the Gospel. (Genesis 1:26-27;Romans 3:22-23;Romans 5:12,Ephesians 2:1-3,12).
We believe in the reality and personality of the devil. We believe in his creation by God, his subjection to God, his evil activity and final doom. (Ephesians 6:11-12,1 Peter 5:8,Revelation 20:10).
